SYSTEM 70 - Combination of underfloor heating and radiators ROTEX System 70 offers the combination of radiators and underfloor heating with only one water distribution system, one ascending pipe, only one distributor and, above all, only one circulation pump. ROTEX System 70 is a low temperature heating system. The maximum feed temperature can reach up to 70 °C, i.e. underfloor heating and radiators can always be operated at the same water temperature. Instead of 70/55 °C, System 70 is usually designed with a maximum temperature of 60/50 °C or 55/45 °C. The water temperature of the underfloor heating is based entirely upon the selected design temperature of the radiator. MONOPEX - The heating pipe is at the heart of any hot water underfloor heating system. In the case of the ROTEX Monopex® underfloor heating system, the ROTEX Monopex® PE-X/DD heating pipe is used – a plastic pipe made of cured polyethylene. ROTEX has manufactured PE-X heating pipes for more than 20 years and today is one of the leading pipe manufacturers. 50 Years of safety PE-X Pipes have proved to be absolutely durable, safe and reliable in the heating sector. The ROTEX Monopex® PE-X/DD heating pipe is completely corrosion-free and is highly effective in preventing the corrosion of other system parts owing to its oxygen tightness. The ROTEX Monopex® PE-X/DD heating pipe effectively prevents the build-up of rust in heating pipes as occurs occasionally in systems with pipes which are not oxygen-tight. The ROTEX Monopex® PE-X/DD heating pipe has an outer diameter of 14 mm and a wall thickness of 2 mm. It is designed with a useful life of 50 years whilst being extremely safe. This provides you with safe flooring. |
